I came into college with a semblance of faith, but I truly only knew Jesus as my Savior and did not treat Him as my Lord. I gained what I thought to be newfound freedom as a Freshman at the University of Alabama, and I looked for fulfillment in every place that the world offered it. Going into my Junior year, I knew that what I was doing was not satisfying my soul, and that things needed to change. Through the grace of God, the wisdom of Campus Outreach staff, and much sanctification, I have been able to surround myself with new community and experience the joy of the Holy Spirit on a whole new level. I am excited to help other students prevent some of the mistakes that I made, and point them to the new life that is only found in Christ.
